Tour Itinerary
Arrive at IGI airport, New Delhi, Welcome to India! You will be met at the airport, Transfer to hotel, Check in to Hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
After Breakfast at Hotel, Departure transfer to Delhi airport to connect flight for Varanasi, On arrival at Varanasi Airport, transfer to hotel. Lunch at hotel, then drive to Sarnath which is 15 km from the holy city, the place where Lord Buddha first turned the Wheel of Dhamma. Next visit Dhammekha Stupa, the largest and most magnificent structure in Sarnath. Made of stone and brick, Dhammekha Stupa has a base diameter of 28m and a height of 43.6m. The exterior of the stupa is decorated with floral carvings by the Gupta dynasty. Then we will visit Isipatana Deer Park and Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays).

This morning boat ride on the holy river 'Ganges' while enjoying the sunrise. Back to the hotel for breakfast. After check-out from the hotel, Drive to Bodhgaya, which is 270 kms (06 hours' drive). Upon arrival check-in hotel and Lunch at the hotel.

After Breakfast at Hotel, Bodhgaya is the most important Buddhist pilgrimage center where Lord Buddha attained spiritual birth. Visit the magnificent Mahabodhi Temple, a giant Bodhi tree believed to have grown from the original Bodhi tree under which Buddha attained Nirvana. Also visit Chankarama, the jewel-walk where Buddha walked in deep thought and other temples and monasteries. Sujata Village, Niranjana River, 80 ft tall Buddha statue & various international monasteries. After lunch, tour to Dungeshwari (Mahakala caves).

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Drive to Patna en-route visit Rajgir & Nalanda, Visit Rajgir (65 km from Bodhgaya). Then visit Gijjakuta (Vulture Hill), Bimbisara Jail and Ajatasathu Fort., then drive to Nalanda which is 12 km (15 minutes), which is one of the oldest universities in the world and a center for Buddhist studies. Nalanda was the largest monastic university of its time and was built in the 5th century BC. It is believed that the Buddha and also the founder of Jainism, Lord Mahavir invited at this university for several years. There is even a monument to commemorate the Chinese monk and also a writer, Hiuen Tsang, who studied at this university in the 7th century. Lunch at the hotel. Drive to Patna, which is 90 kms (03 hours drive).

After breakfast and check out from hotel. Drive to Kushinagar, which is 270 kms (06 hrs drive). On the way, stop at Vaishali. Vaishali is the center of Buddhist congregation, which was held 100 years after Buddha's Parinirvana. It was at Kothua that Buddha delivered his last sermon. Later emperor Ashoka erected a large Pillar to commemorate the place of last sermon, and proceed to Kushinagar. Lunch at hotel. This is the place where Mahaparinirvana was passed on, Mahaparinirvana Temple houses the Buddha's effigies brought from Mathura by Monk Haribala. Also visit the ruins of the crematorium brick of Buddha. Can see the Indo-Japanese-Sri Lankan Buddhist center and temples from various countries.
After breakfast at Hotel, check-out hotel, drive to Nepal, Lumbini (155 km, 4 hours). Visa required is Double Visa for India and Single Visa for Nepal Upon arrival, check-in hotel and have lunch. Visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha 2500 years ago in Lumbini Park, Nepal. Since then, Nepal has become a holy place for Buddhists as it is the place where Lord Buddha was born. Ashoka and Rummir Pillars, relief of Maya Devi, Puskarnim-Holy Place of Lord Buddha's birth.

After breakfast and check out from hotel. Drive to Sravasti, which is 190 kms (05 hrs drive). On the way, stop at Kapilvastu. Kapilavastu is the place where Siddhartha Gautama spent 29 years of his life, and continue to Saravasti. Upon arrival check in hotel and have lunch. Visit Jetavana Garden where Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons. Augulimala Cave and Anand Bodhi Tree.

After breakfast and check out from hotel, drive to Lucknow (180 Km/4.5 hrs). Upon arrival check in hotel and have lunch. Then city tour in Lucknow city.

After breakfast at Hotel, check-out hotel, drive to Agra (350 Km/ 6 Hours). Stop at 'Sanksia', the place where Lord Buddha along with Lord Brahma and Lord Saka descended after giving Dhamma discourse to his mother in Tusita Heaven. This place was later built a temple and made Lord Buddha Statue. Upon arrival in Agra, check-in to hotel

Early Morning Visit Agra visit one of the wonders of the world 'Taj Mahal' (closed every Friday) built by Mughal Emperor, Shah-Jehan for his empress Mumtaj Mahal. This building took 22 years with more than 20,000 craftsmen. Breakfast at Hotel, and check-out from hotel, drive pass of Agra fort Drive to New Delhi (210 KM, 4 Hours). After dinner drive to New Delhi airport for flight onward destinations.
